Vito’s in the Valley is a St. Louis family owned and operated Sicilian restaurant and pizzeria that is dishing up award winning recipes in keeping with the family’s 20 year tradition.

“I started helping my dad make pizzas as soon as I was tall enough to reach the ingredients,” said owner Gio LaFata. “My brothers and I always knew we wanted to be in the restaurant business so we opened Vito’s Sicilian Pizzeria in Midtown in 1996. As our families grew, so did our ambition to open up a second location, so in October 2013, my mom, my wife and I opened this restaurant in the Chesterfield Valley.”

Customers are treated to authentic, made-from-scratch Sicilian food for dine-in, catering and private events. Every year the family visits Sicily and as a souvenir to St. Louis they bring back fresh recipes. At Vito’s in the Valley, the LaFata family’s passion for food and delighting customers shines.

Vito’s in the Valley also offers full service catering for any occasion or event. The restaurant boasts several space options, including a lively bar area, a formal yet friendly main dining room, and two spacious outdoor patios. The wine inspired décor, tropical plants and vibrant colors throughout, make it a relaxed and chic dining experience.

“We want to be the ‘go to’ West County restaurant that families know they can depend on for consistently great food, drinks and gathering,” Gio said. “Kids eat free Sundays through Wednesdays and we have seasonal specials, such as our Lenten Menu, throughout the year. We are also now accepting reservations for Valentine’s Day.”
