D.A.R.E. officer celebrates silver anniversary

Ellisville Police Sgt. Nancy Walker has celebrated a silver anniversary of sorts. On Dec. 3, when she graduated another group of students through the D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program at St. John School, she marked 25 years of service to the program.

Walker has been a police officer since 1975 and joined the City of Ellisville police force in 1981. She became a D.A.R.E.  officer in 1989.

Walker serves two private schools – St. John School and St. Clare Catholic School, as well as two Rockwood schools – Ellisville Elementary and Ridge Meadows.
