Chesterfield resident John Kijowski recently was elected chairman for the Board of Directors of the Missouri Broadcasters Association (MBA). Kijowski is St. Louis vice president and market manager for Creve Coeur-based Hubbard Radio.

Enterprise Holdings founder Jack C. Taylor and his family have donated an additional $5 million to the Gary Olson Endowment Fund at St. Luke’s Hospital. The fund supports the hospital’s ability to continue to provide care for patients with insufficient financial resources to ensure the best possible patient care for patients, improve current technology and recruit high quality staff and physicians.
Toyota officials recently assisted in the rededication of Jay Wolfe Toyota, located at 14700 Manchester Road in Ballwin. The auto dealership recently underwent a significant renovation which increased the building’s size.

The Home Builders Charitable Foundation (HBCF), the charitable arm of the Home Builders Association, recently contributed $10,000 to DOORWAYS, an interfaith nonprofit organization that provides housing and related support services for area residents living with HIV/AIDS.

St. Luke’s Hospital recently received the Healthgrades® 2015 Women’s Health Excellence Award™ for the seventh consecutive year, and was the only Missouri hospital to achieve the honor. The recognition distinguishes St. Luke’s as a top-performing hospital in women’s health services, including cardiac care, vascular surgery, stroke care, respiratory services, orthopedic surgery and spine surgery.

Friendship Village Chesterfield Chef Richard Syberg led his team to top honors in the “chef wars” competition at the recent 12th Annual Taste of Webster-Kirkwood. Competing against chefs from other senior living communities in support of the Shepherd Center, the team took first place in the dessert category and second place in the entree category.
