Gershman Mortgage recently added Tom Gershman as a commercial loan officer in the company’s multifamily division. Gershman has 10 years of experience in commercial real estate, including three years in the mortgage industry. He holds an MBA in real estate and urban land economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA in communication from the University of Colorado-Boulder.
Des Peres Hospital recently began a $6.5 million upgrade to the facility’s mechanical plant. The upgrade, which will be done in phases and is designed to improve heating and cooling, expand electrical capacity and increase safety at the 143-bed hospital, is expected to be completed by early 2016.

The West St. Louis County Chamber of Commerce hosts its 2015 Fall Golf Classic shotgun format golf tournament on Monday, October 5 at Aberdeen Golf Club, 4111 Crescent Road in Eureka.
