Old World charm meets modern convenience

Talking about history, authentic Italian cuisine and elegant banquet space? You’re talking about Favazza’s Restaurant and Rose of the Hill.

Housed in turn-of-the-century buildings, both locations offer Old World charm and modern convenience, plus a staff that can guide you through all your catering needs. They specialize in group parties, private dinners, meetings and rehearsal dinners. Wedding planning site The Knot named it a 2017 Top Pick in its “Best of Weddings” category.

Favazza’s Restaurant/Rose of the Hill also offers off-site catering service, boxed lunches, office catering, fundraisers and holiday parties at their place or yours. At Rose of the Hill, the Favazza’s team accommodates groups from 25 up to 500 guests.

Twenty years ago, Favazza’s [already well-known and well-loved] acquired the old world famous Ruggeri’s restaurant. That venue became Rose of the Hill, so named in honor of Mama Favazza. Though remodeled and updated, many original features remain, including the 35-foot dark wood bar in the huge bar room, the chandeliers adorning the dining areas, and the original coat check room.

In its heyday, Ruggeri’s was the hottest restaurant in St. Louis, hosting the likes of Frank Sinatra and his Rat Pack and staffed by two of The Hill’s most famous sons, waiters Yogi Berra and Joe Garagiola.

Now, a whole new crowd is hanging out at Favazza’s Restaurant/Rose of the Hill – those who love great Italian food and personal customer service in truly historic settings. Call today to join the satisfied crowds at Favazza’s Restaurant/Rose of the Hill.
