Vito’s in the Valley is conveniently close to home but worlds away in terms of taste, authenticity, atmosphere and experience. At Vito’s, family confidently intersects with exceptional Italian food and great expectations. The unique flavor profiles at Vito’s reflect the Sicilian heritage of co-owner Giovanni LaFata. According to co-owner Jessica LaFata, the food is made so consistent and true to Gio’s mother’s recipes that customers can depend on deliciousness at every meal.
In October 2016, Vito’s decided to add another element to its culinary arsenal. Jessica described the lunch menu as fast, fresh and affordable. For those on the run, Vito’s offers an Express Lunch Special with three options. Customers can order soup and salad; half soup or salad with half pizza or panini; and soup or salad with pasta, pizza or panini.
“We want people to be able to get quality food at an exceptional value.” Jessica said. “Yet that doesn’t mean a whole lot to those on their lunch break if we cannot execute their order in a timely manner, so we designed the menu accordingly.”
Jessica believes the restaurant’s happy hour can compete with just about any in the St. Louis area. Offered seven days a week from 4-6 p.m., Vito’s happy hour features drinks and tapas specials. Included are Vito’s hand-tossed, 10-inch pizzas and Arancini, a classic Sicilian specialty of deep-fried saffron risotto balls filled with meat, mozzarella and peas. Enjoy the bar area or the expansive patio, a quiet retreat surrounded by native Silician plants.
Vito’s also can host private events, including rehearsal dinners, showers, graduations and corporate parties.
