If you are a night owl with an interest in helping the nation’s servicemen and women, the St. Louis area USO organization would like to talk with you.
That’s because the USO is looking for volunteers for its midnight-6 a.m. shift at St. Louis Lambert International Airport.
Located in Terminal 1 at the airport, the USO needs volunteers to work the front desk answering questions and signing in guests, in the luggage area tagging luggage [no heavy lifting involved] or the concession stand providing drinks and snacks.
Volunteers must apply online, attend a couple of hours of training and then do on-the-job training with another volunteer. Applicants also must be least 18 years old.
Those wanting additional information should contact Jennifer Warner, the USO volunteer director, at firstname.lastname@example.org or at (314) 429-7739.
