The Eureka Wildcats, the only undefeated West County school, begins postseason play with a home game.
Eureka (9-0) will entertain the Seckman Jaguars at 7 p.m. Friday (Oct. 20).
The Wildcats are 6-0 against Seckman. The last meeting came in 2015 with Eureka scoring a 31-20 win.
Wildcats coach Jake Sumner has eight starters returning on each side of the ball on a team that reached the quarterfinals last season. The loss came to eventual state champion Kirkwood.
Eureka is the top seed in Class 6 District 1. The other teams in order are Lindbergh, Kirkwood, Lafayette (6-3), Fox, Mehlville, Northwest and Seckman.
CBC (8-1) is the top seed in Class 6 District 2. The teams in order are Hazelwood Central, Ritenour, Hazelwood West, Marquette (3-6), St. Louis University, De Smet (1-8) and McCluer North.
In Class 5 District 2, Chaminade (5-3) is seeded second behind Pattonville. Parkway South (3-6) is the No. 5 seed in the six-team district.
In Class 4 District, MICDS (7-2) is the No. 2 seed behind No. 1 Ladue. In District 3, Parkway Central (8-1) is the No. 2 seed and Parkway North (4-5) is the No. 3 seed. The top seeded team is Riverview Gardens. In District 4, Parkway West (7-2) is the No. 2 seed behind St. Francis Borgia. Westminster Christian Academy (4-5) is seeded sixth and Priory (1-8) is No. 8.
In Class 2 District 5, Principia (4-4) is the No. 7 seed.
