Eva Fryar, Payne Family Homes vice president of construction operations, has been selected by Professional Builder magazine for its 40 Under 40 Class of 2018, featured in their March 2018 issue.

Fryar provides strategic leadership and direction for the homebuilder’s growing portfolio of residential homes. She is charged with opening six new residential developments in early 2018, as well as leading the campaign and building efforts for the 2018 St. Louis St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway house, an effort that has helped raise over $4 million to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since 2014. Fryar is chair of the committee for the St. Louis Professional Women in Building Council, is an active member of the St. Louis Home Builders Association and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity. Professional Builder received more than 150 nominations for the 2018 class and choose finalists based on both personal and professional accomplishments.

Barry Simon, of Simon Homes, and Lee Allen, of Allen Roofing & Siding, will receive the HBA’s Excellence of Achievement Award at a luncheon from 11:15 a.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23 at Old Warson Country Club, 9841 Old Warson Road in St. Louis. Receiving the award is considered the equivalent of an HBA “Hall of Fame” induction. Award winners are selected for a minimum of 15 years of service to the association, industry and community.
