The Eastern Missouri Chapter of The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the nation’s leading suicide prevention organization in the United States, is hosting a training session on suicide prevention that focuses on the whole family.
The session runs from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday, April 6 at the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel, 9801 Natural Bridge Road in St. Louis.
This innovative style of therapy, known as Attachment-Based Family Therapy, is the only empirically supported family therapy model designed to treat adolescent depression. The program is being offered for continuing education credit hours through some universities. The cost is $74 per attendee; students are free. Registration is required.
