Students at Woerther Elementary learned recently that their school has raised more than $100,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through their annual Math-A-Thon. The efforts of students at Woerther go back as far as 1995, before current students were even born.
This is the year students put the cumulative fundraising total over the $100,000 mark, by collecting $101,605. St. Jude Regional Fitness and Endurance Specialist Rachel Dragicevic visited Woerther and expressed her gratitude for the students’ efforts.
“Kelly Schilling has led this fundraiser since 1995. Our Woerther families are generous and caring!” Woerther Principal Jane Levy exclaimed. “They have done outstanding work in supporting St. Jude’s! This is just another example of how dedicated our families are.”
