In 2003, Sarah Corrigan and her mother, Mary Kay, felt there was a demand in the community for a unique décor, gift and floral boutique. Soon after, they joined forces to start The White Hare, offering distinct home accessories, gifts, and an extensive, top-notch floral selection with custom floral design services.
Their store has grown quickly over the years, moving three times to larger spaces. Most recently, the store moved into its “forever home,” a 13,000-square-foot showroom in Cottleville. The renovated, two-story space features a design center, a more expansive shopping space and a larger selection of furniture with price points for everyone.
The store also offers an in-home accessorizing service, which helps clients design a new space or add finishing touches to an existing one.
“We come to your home and go over the areas you would like to improve,” Sarah said. “We then schedule another day when we return with a selection of items specifically for your space. It’s that easy!”
The White Hare prides itself on its personalized service – which keeps loyal and dedicated customers coming back time and again.
“We are always changing and striving to have the most creative displays and newest products out there,” Sarah said. “It’s not uncommon for a customer to come to the store three times in a month, and it looks different each time.”
The store will be hosting its Fall Open House next month, Aug. 18-19. Visit The White Hare’s website for details and more events.
