Lafayette Bible Baptist Church

Lafayette Bible Baptist Church celebrated its 50th anniversary in a two-day celebration on Sept. 29-30. The celebration was a gift to the community as well as an opportunity for the church to celebrate its heritage as a “fundamental, independent, Bible-believing, Bible-preaching Baptist church with a burden for missions.” Lafayette Bible Baptist Church is located at 18810 Hwy. 100 in the Pacific/Wildwood area of West St. Louis County. It is online at lbbc-stl.com.

In an effort to better serve its client families, Circle of Concern Food Pantry has transitioned from a traditional pantry model to a client choice pantry. The new service model will allow the pantry’s clients choose what they want and need to address medical, dietary and cultural concerns. The program also is to reduce waste and provide the pantry with a better sense of what it needs in terms of food donations. While going through the redevelopment process, the nonprofit took the opportunity to make a number of upgrades to its building located at 112 St. Louis Ave. in Valley Park.
