The Valley Park School Board approved Dr. Tim Dilg to become the district’s new superintendent beginning next school year.
Dilg has 16 years of experience in education, including 12 years in administration. He comes from the School District of Clayton as the assistant superintendent of human resources. Before his time at Clayton, Dilg served as principal at St. John Vianney High and worked at Springfield Catholic High in Springfield, Missouri.
Dilg has a doctorate in educational leadership from Saint Louis University. He also has a master’s of education from Drury University and a bachelor of science in professional writing from Missouri State University.
He will replace Dr. David Knes, who announced his plans to retire at the end of the current school year.
