A resolution passed at the Town & Country Board of Aldermen meeting on Nov. 26 directs the mayor to appoint an infrastructure task force.
In years past, the city has strategically budgeted its reserves into major projects and necessary improvements to infrastructure, which now have been largely implemented. Therefore, officials want to re-evaluate the city’s capital and other major needs that support the five-year Capital Improvements Plan going forward.
The mayor will appoint two aldermen to serve as co-chairmen of the task force consisting along with two resident members from each of the four wards. All appointments must be approved by the board.
