Known as “The Secret off Strecker,” Parkside Grille has been family owned and operated for four years and has become a favorite gathering spot in the Wildwood community. Customers can stop in for a taste of classic comfort foods while also enjoying live music from St. Louis’ most prominent musical talent five days a week. In warmer months, patrons can also relax on the restaurant’s outdoor patio.

Parkside Grille stands out thanks to the hands-on supervision of owner Jean Ann Mantia, a culinary graduate of Forest Park Community College.

Chef Mark Wentz has over 35 years of experience, previously working for institutions like Tony’s, Café de France and Bellerive Country Club. Mantia and Wentz regularly collaborate on the menu, and the specials on the board change daily to feature both savory and seasonal fare.

“I like to put a unique spin on old time favorites that people remember from way back when,” Mantia said.

In addition to featuring gourmet dishes like Beer-Battered Walleye made with real craft beer, the Center-Cut Porkchops and the Key Lime Pie, patrons can also enjoy dishes like the Fresh Scallop with Lobster Risotto. Parkside Grille’s specials change daily and are always made with the freshest ingredients that are skillfully prepared and presented.
