Ackermann’s Swim Program

Ackermann’s Swim Program has been dedicated to the growth and development of children in Kirkwood since 1942. Group swim lessons for children ages 4 to 11 in four heated pools of different water levels from 30-inches-deep to 5-feet-deep. Lessons are taught by Red Cross certified teaching staff. We provide children with a non-competitive, safe environment in which to build confidence and self-esteem by teaching the life skill of swimming and water safety. Camp Taum Sauk is a family-owned, co-ed overnight camp in Lesterville, Missouri, dedicated to creating positive, lasting impressions on children ages 8 to 15. With concern to safety and an emphasis on individual attention, experienced staff members lead campers through exciting experiences, including horseback rides, mountain biking, caving, zip wire, a giant swing, ropes course, wilderness skills, archery, riflery, creative arts, tennis and more.
