The city of Ballwin has posted a draft of a comprehensive plan for the community and is seeking citizen feedback on the document.
Launched early last year, the comprehensive plan is the result of numerous meetings with a steering committee and local leaders, as well as open house sessions, to gain citizen input. Surveys and other research also went into the document’s preparation.
The planning document is available for review at ballwinsblueprint.com. A link to a comment form to provide feedback accompanies the draft.
Plans call for the document to be presented at the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission meeting at 7 p.m. on April 1. Public comments also will be welcome at that session.
Comments by mail should be sent to Andy Hixson, Director of Development/Assistant City Administrator, City of Ballwin, 14811 Manchester Road, Ballwin, MO 63011.
The deadline for all comments is April 10.
Input from the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting and from citizen comments will be reviewed before a final draft is submitted to the Ballwin Board of Aldermen for its consideration and approval.
The i5Group, a St. Louis planning and consulting firm, was in charge of the planning effort.
