Nathan Burch has been selected as the principal of Claymont Elementary, effective July 1. The Parkway Board of Education voted in support of the recommendation in February.
Burch is currently the principal of Bierbaum Elementary in the Mehlville School District where he has served for two years. Previously, he was an assistant principal in the Fox School District, where he also began his career as an elementary classroom teacher over 10 years ago.
Burch holds a doctorate of education from Maryville University, a master’s degree in educational administration from Missouri Baptist University and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University.
Burch will replace retiring principal, Michelle Weissenborn.
