City named to ‘best places’ list

The city of Wildwood has been ranked as the best place to raise a family in the St. Louis area in 2019 by Niche.com, a ranking and review site.

Niche.com ranked Wildwood according to a variety of factors such as quality of schools, business and employment growth, family income, housing and crime rates. Wildwood’s parks also played a role.

“This achievement is all thanks to Wildwood residents and business owners, who help make this community a great place to live, work and play,” Mayor Jim Bowlin said. “It’s great for us to be recognized as the best place to raise a family – not just in the St. Louis region, but statewide.”

In addition to the best place to raise a family in Missouri, Wildwood was ranked #5 best public schools in Missouri, #10 best place to live in Missouri, and #29 best place to raise a family in America.
