Lisa Hearn has been appointed as the new chief financial officer at Signature Medical Group. She will oversee all financial operations. Hearn has been with Signature Medical Group since Nov. 2017, serving as assistant CFO. Prior to Signature Medical Group, Hearn served as the CFO of Epworth Children & Family Services, Inc., overseeing the accounting, human resources, IT and facilities operations.

Frank Jacobs was honored at the St. Louis Irish fraternal organization, the Ancient Order of the Hibernians, with its 2019 labor leader of the year award. Jacobs is a 37-year member and current business manager of IBEW Local 1. 


Lumber Liquidators celebrated its newest store at 17724 Chesterfield Airport Road in Chesterfield with a grand opening on April 27. The new location is the fourth- St. Louis-based store. Lumber Liquidators offers a selection of flooring and installation services to homeowners and expands its special offers and support for professionals in Chesterfield.

Chicken Salad Chick has opened its second Missouri location in Creve Coeur at 12536 Olive Boulevard. The restaurant is the nation’s only southern inspired casual chicken salad restaurant concept. The Creve Coeur restaurant celebrated its grand opening on April 23, offering free chicken salad for a year to the first 150 guests and five days of additional giveaways.


The Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce hosts its general membership meeting, sponsored by West Newsmagazine, at noon [doors open at 11:15 a.m.] on Wednesday, May 15 at Wings of Hope, 18370 Wings of Hope Blvd., in Chesterfield. Jim Canada, of Alliance Technologies, will discuss networking; Leadership Chesterfield graduation also included. Admission is $30 for members; $35 for guests. A $5 discount applies for registrations through May 10; a $5 surcharge applies to day-of walk-ins. Walk-ins will not be guaranteed a meal.
