ElaRose Boutique & Gifts, 111 Baxter Road in Manchester, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 2 with representatives from the West County Chamber of Commerce.

The British Swim School celebrated its grand opening at Gold’s Gym Manchester Meadows, 13867 Manchester Road, on May 7. Representatives from the West County Chamber of Commerce were onsite for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Jessica Philips and Don Eisenberg, owners of The Exercise Coach, with their Franchisee of the Year Award.

The Exercise Coach, with three franchise locations in the St. Louis area including one in Town & Country, was chosen as the “Franchisee of the Year” at the parent company’s annual conference on May 4. Owned by Jessica Philips and Don Eisenberg, the franchise was chosen based on its leadership, customer relationships and franchise citizenship. The Exercise Coach provides one-on-one training in a modern studio setting.

St. Johns Bank employees recently donated $750 to the Animal Protective Association of St. Louis with proceeds from its monthly Dress Down for a Cause effort throughout 2018. Employees at all St. Johns Bank locations were encouraged to dress down on the last Friday of each month by making a small donation to wear jeans to work. At the end of the year, employees nominate charitable causes to benefit from the donations and a bank-wide vote decides the recipient.

Charles Crecelius, M.D., Ph.D., FACP, CMD was named as 2019 Medical Director of the Year by the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care [PALTC] Medicine. Established in 2007, the annual award recognizes a PALTC facility medical director that excels in areas of patient care. Crecelius is the medical director at Delmar Gardens West and Delmar Gardens on the Green. Crecelius received a PhD. in biochemistry and his M.D. from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Godar

Paula Godar was named director of the new project management department for Psychological Associates. Godar will manage client projects, oversee short and long-term internal projects and supervise a team of four employees. Godar earned her master’s degree in marketing from Webster University and her bachelor’s degree in English from Saint Louis University.
