The city of Creve Coeur has recognized winners of its fourth annual Business Awards. Winners included: Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital, which won the Heart of the Community Award 2019; Poké Munch, which won the Favorite Restaurant Award 2019 and Green Business Award 2019; and The Yield Lab, part of the growing 39º North Ag-Tech district that is working to connect entrepreneurs with agriculture technology companies, which won the Most Innovative Business Award 2019.

Jane Harbron has been named as the Assistance League of St. Louis’ president for the 2019-2020 term. After a 35-year career at IBM as consulting partner and sales executive, Harbron joined Assistance League in 2009. For more than 30 years, the nonprofit has responded to the unmet needs of thousands of St. Louisans. 


Hidden Valley Ski Resort, 17409 Hidden Valley Dr. in Wildwood, opened its new ZipTour zipline on Saturday, June 29. The ZipTour offers a total of four spans of varying lengths and includes both zipline and scenic chair lift experiences.

Porto’s Peri Peri is coming to the Manchester Meadows Shopping Center, 13951 Manchester Road in Town & Country. Porto’s is a casual Portuguese chicken restaurant that’s famous for infusing its secret Peri Peri sauces into its dishes. There are several stores in Illinois, Indiana and Texas; however, the Town & Country location is the first in Missouri.


The Town & Country-Frontenac Chamber of Commerce hosts its general membership networking breakfast from 7:30-8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17 at St. Louis Hilton-Frontenac, 1335 S.
