Eligible home projects include roofing, electrical, plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, hot water heater, tuck-pointing, foundation work, handrail installation, concrete, asphalt, masonry, tree trimming or removal and insulation among others.
To qualify, the applicant must own and live in the home, all property taxes must be current and the household’s total adjusted gross income as shown on the 2018 U.S. Individual Income Tax Return must be within certain limits. Previous grant recipients cannot apply.
