Three accreditation certificates were awarded to St. Mark’s Lutheran School at the Aug. 18 worship service by Alan Freeman, director of schools for the Missouri District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. In addition to National Lutheran School Accreditation, the school also received recognition from the Missouri Nonpublic School Accreditation Association and National Federation of Nonpublic School State Accreditation Association.

These are awarded on a five-year cycle based on seven national standards. A self-study report, evaluation by a visiting team and corrective upgrades when necessary are needed for accreditation.
