Academy of Dance celebrated its 30th anniversary at 16 Clarkson Wilson Center in Chesterfield. After spending 15 years teaching in St. Louis, owner Carol Bowman opened the Chesterfield studio. With over 45 years of professional experience, Carol now teaches dance alongside her daughter, Madeline, and other students who have become instructors. Academy of Dance provides lessons for dancers from pre-kindergarten to grade five and up at a variety of difficulty levels. Styles include ballet, tap, modern, hip-hop and more.

Cedarhurst Senior Living, LLC acquired Provision Senior Living, located at 12826 Daylight Circle, and will operate under the name of Cedarhurst of Des Peres. Cedarhurst of Des Peres offers 26 assisted living apartments and 32 memory care apartments to deliver personal care.

Ballwin Modern Dentistry announced its opening at 1001 Brittany Parkway in Manchester. The business provides general care and dentistry procedures through the combined efforts of a dentist, a periodontist and an oral surgeon.

Town & Country’s Saettele Jewelers marked its 73rd anniversary in the St. Louis area with a raffle benefitting Friends of Kids With Cancer and showcasing its new fall line of fine diamond and jewelry brands. Saettele Jewelers also offers a large collection of vintage and estate luxury watches.

Kids Rock Cancer was featured at the annual “Eat and Treat” fundraising event presented by First Community on Oct. 9 at Chesterfield Amphitheater. Now in its 10th year, Kids Rock Cancer was developed through Maryville University to help families cope with the challenges of a cancer diagnosis through music therapy. The 2019 event raised over $18,000. 


Daniel Morro has been named a principal security advisor for global technology consulting and engineering firm Ross & Baruzzini. Morro brings experience in international security issues with a focus on transnational criminal investigations related to border threats and security as well as counter-terrorism.

USA Mortgage has promoted two senior executives to new key leadership roles. Linda Pring has been named president of the firm from her current position as executive vice president and chief operating officer. Ron Mueller has been named executive vice president from his current role as senior vice president. Pring and Mueller joined the firm in 2001.

Creve Coeur resident Dan Graney has been named Dovetail’s creative director. Dovetail is a branding and digital agency headquartered in St. Louis. Graney will collaborate with each department at Dovetail to guide client objectives into strategic, creative solutions.


The Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce hosts its general membership meeting at noon [doors open at 11:15 a.m.] on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at Persimmon Woods Golf Club, 6401 Weldon Spring Road in Weldon Spring. Sponsored by Stanley Steemer, participants should bring a used stuff animal to be cleaned, sanitized and donated to kids in need as part of the annual “Tired Teddies” program. Admission is $30 for members; $35 for guests. A $5 discount applies for registrations through Nov. 18; a $5 surcharge applies to day-of walk-ins; walk-ins will not be guaranteed a meal. The 9th annual Santa’s North Pole Dash & Children’s Snowman Shuffle event is seeking sponsorships. Over 2,500 participants from all over the bi-state region are slated to run on Saturday, Dec. 7. Proceeds directly support the Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce, which represents the interests of businesses, improves the economy and cultivates future business leaders in  St. Charles County. All sponsors have the opportunity to place their marketing materials inside the runner packets. Materials must be delivered to the chamber office no later than Monday, Dec. 2 and run registrations must be made by Wednesday, Nov. 20.
