Just Dancing celebrated its new ownership with a ribbon-cutting on Nov. 14. Brian and Natalie Ames purchased the long-time studio at 236 Old Meramec Station Road in August and renovated it with a new contemporary feel. The studio teaches ballroom dance with 14 instructors and five studio spaces. Just Dancing has been long recognized for its excellence in instruction. Many of its instructors have been or are currently professional competitors on the national level. Harbor Freight Tools will celebrate the grand opening of its new store in Manchester on Saturday, Dec. 14. The 15,000-square-foot store, located at 13913 Manchester Road, will stock a full selection of tools and accessories in categories including automotive, air and power tools, storage, outdoor power equipment, generators, welding supplies, shop equipment, hand tools and more. The new Manchester location is the 27th Harbor Freight Tools store in Missouri.

Keselman

Roman Keselman has joined the TriStar Companies as a senior analyst. In his new position, Keselman will analyze markets across the U.S. and participate in the acquisition and development of institutional grade industrial and multifamily properties. Keselman holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a master’s degree in business administration from Washington University.

The Family & Youth Services Bureau [FYSB] named Epworth Children & Family Services as a recipient of three three-year grants totaling $1,605,999. Epworth is the only Missouri agency to receive awards in the 2019 cycle for the FYSB programs of Basic Center, Transitional Living, and Street Outreach services. FYSB, which is part of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, supports programs for at-risk youth and their families. Founded in 1864, Epworth Children & Family Services is a multi-service agency that helps children, youth and families move toward self-sufficiency by focusing on health, housing, education and employment opportunities.

Operation Food Search, a nonprofit hunger relief organization, raised $81,820 at its 26th annualgolf tournament held at WingHaven Country Club, 7777 Winghaven Blvd. in O’Fallon. All proceeds from the “Swing to Heal Hunger” event will go toward ending childhood hunger and family food insecurity in the St. Louis bi-state area.

The Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce hosts its general membership meeting at noon [doors open at 11:15 a.m.] on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Center, 16625 Swingley Road in Chesterfield.
