A Veterans Resource Event is coming to the city of Manchester on Thursday, Feb. 27 at Manchester United Methodist Church, 129 Woods Mill Road. This free event will run from 9 a.m.-noon with no pre-registration required.
Organizations representing housing, food assistance, VA resources/benefits, entrepreneurial services, legal assistance, mental health, substance abuse, and more will be in attendance. The event is a partnership between the city of Manchester, the American Legion, Missouri Job Center – Arnold and Manchester United Methodist Church.
“We are thrilled and honored to host this event,” said Manchester Mayor Mike Clement. “The creation of a Manchester Veterans Commission marks an important step forward that acknowledges veterans’ presence, their needs and the importance of veterans in Manchester and surrounding communities.”
