Crestview Middle sixth grader Suchir Ryali won the first-place championship award at the Regional Science Bee conducted by International Academic Competitions. He will move on to the National Championship Finals in December 2020.
Ryali also recently competed in the Academy of Science – Saint Louis Science Fair and won the Pfizer Top Young Scientist award. His topic was “A Healthy Future: AlzheimerSolved” a project that explores an app that helps patients with Alzheimer’s Disease.
“I love science and competing in various competitions,” Ryali said. “I learned a lot about science in these two contests and am glad to have been encouraged by my sixth grade teachers!”
