The McDonald’s of Metro St. Louis Co-Op has announced a $1 Million Round-Up for RMHC Challenge to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis.
Between now and Dec. 31, customers can help by rounding up their purchase to the nearest dollar for RMHC when ordering through the drive-thru, front counter or kiosk. Customers also can donate by adding $1, $3 or $5 to their purchase when using Mobile Order and Pay on the McDonald’s app. An ongoing program, Round-Up has raised over $150,000 for RMHC since the beginning of July.
“We are grateful for the support of our partners like McDonald’s and their generous customers who help keep us going during these difficult times,” said Dan Harbaugh, president, Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis.
The $1 Million Round-up for RMHC Challenge announcement comes on the heels of the Co-Op’s recent “Sleeves for Support” fundraiser, which raised $100,000 for RMHC in just two weeks through the sale of large cup size, limited edition sleeves.
McDonald’s presented the funds raised from the “Sleeves for Support” fundraiser to Harbaugh and other members of the RMHC team on Aug. 5.
Since helping to open the first house in 1974, McDonald’s has continuously supported RMHC’s commitment to providing a safe and comfortable place for sick kids and their families to stay close to each other and the care and resources they need.
