Fr. Ralph Siefert retires from Chaminade

Rev. Ralph A. Siefert, S.M, president of Chaminade College Preparatory School, announced that he will retire in June 2022. “Father Ralph”, as he is affectionately known among the Chaminade community, has served in the role of president for more than 30 years.

Of his time at Chaminade, Father Ralph said, “It has been an incredible privilege for me to have been a part of the growth to manhood of the thousands of young men who have allowed Chaminade to be a key instrument to become the mature, well educated, kind and compassionate men that God calls them to be. My life has been wonderfully enriched by my relationships with the adult members of our school community and the parents of our young men as well.”

Dr. Todd Guidry, current middle school principal, will succeed Siefert as the next president of Chaminade. He has served as principal for eight years and holds prior experience in Chaminade’s Campus Ministry.
