Manchester approves Lyceum restoration project

A resolution passed at the regular Manchester Board of Aldermen meeting on Feb. 1 via video conference approved renovations to the Lyceum building.

The resolution approved a contract with Grey Construction Services in the amount of $146,746, including a 7% change order of $9,582 for unforeseen conditions for exterior improvements to the Manchester City Hall.

The scope of work includes the correction of structural concerns with the balcony, elimination of water infiltration into the basement and replacement of the deteriorating fish scale siding. Due to budgetary concerns, window replacement and restoration were tabled for now.
