To the Editor:
With all the doom and gloom we have heard about the horrible pandemic, permit me to provide a little good news.
The one thing that helped me the most to survive the pandemic was our wonderful St. Louis County Library. Working under very difficult conditions, the good people there went the extra mile to keep us well-supplied with reading material while we were staying home. Their curbside service was a godsend, and they pulled it off without a hitch.
So thank you to the library people for a super-good job. You really stepped up when you were needed the most. Oh, and also thanks much for distributing the free face masks from the county to help protect us.
