Permanent open space at heart of issue for Town & Country

Lafayette Industries receives proceeds of Craft Beer Festival

A check in the amount of $3074.31 was presented to Rob Libera, CEO and executive director of Lafayette Industries, at Manchester’s regular Board of Aldermen meeting on July 16. The check represents proceeds from the 2nd Annual Craft Beer Festival held on May 12. The event was chaired by Alderman Rich Baumann [Ward 3] in partnership with Parks, Recreation and Arts Director Eileen Collins and Buddy Coy, of Circle 7 Taphouse and Grill.  More than 20 breweries participated in the popular event. Between its two locations, Manchester and Berkley, Lafayette Industries employs more than 370 adults with disabilities.

Manchester’s annual audit released for 2017

The 2017 Comprehensive Annual Finance Report [CAFR] was presented at the regular Board of Aldermen meeting for the city of Manchester on July 2. The annual audit presents financial trends, revenue capacity, debt capacity, demographic and economic information and operating information for the current year and nine years prior.
