UPS seeks to hire 900 seasonal employees

UPS has announced that it expects to hire more than 900 seasonal employees in the St. Louis area to support the anticipated increase in package volume that will begin in November and continue through January 2019.

Street, sidewalk work beginning soon in Manchester

Improvements to roadways and sidewalks are coming soon to a street near you, thanks to the $16 million proposition that passed in the city of Manchester earlier this year. A street pavement assessment study was performed by Horner & Shifrin, Inc., an engineering consulting firm, to establish street condition ratings to prioritize the work to be completed over the next seven years. With the completion of the assessment and sale of the first $9 million in bonds sold this summer, work is slated to begin immediately.
