Seat open on STLCC board

Filing for the April 7 election of the St. Louis Community College Board of Trustees Subdistrict 4 seat opens at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17. The seat is currently held by Eleftheria “Libby” Fitzgerald, who has served two terms on the board.

Winners named in Congressional App Challenge

Kailin Zhang, a senior at Marquette High, and Sophie Maniscalco, a junior at St. Joseph’s Academy, were named this year’s winners of the 2nd District Congressional App Challenge. The girls were recognized by Congresswoman Ann Wagner [R-MO] in an award presentation ceremony on Dec. 3.
