Students raise funds for Honor Flight

Parkway South Middle students raised $4,194.81 to benefit the Greater St. Louis Honor Flight program. The collection is enough to send six veterans to Washington D. C. to visit the memorials dedicated to honoring their military service.

Mastering bilingual literacy

Visitation Academy senior Rose Fontana was awarded the Missouri Seal of Biliteracy from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE]. This award is given to graduating high school students in districts with a DESE-approved program, who have demonstrated achievement in English, a language other than English, and sociocultural competence.

The Parkway North High team, “The Bee Boys” won $7,000 in the Lexus Eco Challenge. Team members are Maxim Evets, Christopher Lau, Nevan Garner, Mason Andrews, Caden Huffines, Josh Mueller and Lorenzo Prila.

Incarnate Word to play at Parkway North after Visitation Tournament win

The Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights jump into 2020 doing what they always do — play a tough opponent. The Red Knights (10-1) will play at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Parkway North (6-3) in a girls basketball game. Last February, the Vikings stopped Incarnate Word 65-62. Two yaars ago, Parkway North 73-63. Both were regular-season games. The Incarnate Word Academy won the 45th annual Visitation Tournament.
