WGU Missouri offers 4th Anniversary Scholarships

In celebration of Western Governors University Missouri’s fourth anniversary, WGU will award several scholarships, worth up to $4,000 each, to new students who want to pursue undergraduate or graduate degrees. To be considered, prospective students must be Missouri residents, be admitted to WGU Missouri and submit a scholarship application by June 16. Scholarships will be awarded based on the student’s academic record, previous college experience, readiness for online study, current competency, as well as other considerations. The scholarship will be applied at the rate of $1,000 per six-month term, renewable for up to four terms. Westminster Christian Academy names new Head of School

Westminster Christian Academy recently announced the appointment of Dr. Barrett Mosbacker as its next head of school. Mosbacker, who served as superintendent of Briarwood Christian School for more than 10 years, takes over at Westminster beginning June 1. He has 28 years of experience in Christian education. In 1989, he founded Covenant Day School in Matthews, North Carolina, and provided leadership in nearly all areas of the school’s operation and development. Following a 13-year tenure at Covenant, Mosbacker served as headmaster at Presbyterian Christian School in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
