Westminster Christian Academy’s Hughes is national finalist for Wendy’s High School Heisman Award

Westminster Christian Academy senior Zachary Hughes will be going to New York next month and he has Wendy’s to thank for the opportunity. Hughes was recently selected as one of the top 10 finalists in the nation for the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award. Unstoppable Thompson propels Fort Osage past Chaminade for Class 5 title

Confidence was high for the Chaminade Red Devils heading into the Class 5 Championship game against Fort Osage and star quarterback Skylar Thompson. The Red Devils thought they might be able to contain or slow the Kansas State bound signal-caller down and have a chance against Thompson and the Indians. Didn’t happen. Not even close. Chaminade to attempt to win first football championship in Class 5 title game against Fort Osage

It’s all down to one game for the Chaminade Red Devils. Westminster Christian Academy meets Kearney with berth in Class 4 state final at stake

Westminster Christian Academy has gone where no Wildcats football team has gone before — the Class 4 Final Four. Undefeated at 13-0, Westminster entertains the Kearney Bulldogs (12-1) at 1 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 21). The Wildcats have to be careful against Kearney. Chaminade looks to tame the Tigers of Carthage in Class 5 football semifinal

The Chaminade Red Devils are keeping their eye on the prize. The Red Devils (11-1) will host the Carthage Tigers (11-1) at 1 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 21) in a Class 5 semifinal game.
