2019 Mid-America Junior Cup team set

The 2019 Mid-America Junior Cup team is set. The Mid America Junior Cup is a collaborative event between MAGA and the Kansas City Golf Association. Each team consists of eight junior golfers, four boys and four girls, from each side of the state and play several match play formats including Four-Ball, foursomes and singles. The event will be hosted by the KCGA this year and will be played at Kansas City Country Club in Mission Hills, Kan. MICDS’ Perry earns medal in her final appearance in Class 1 state golf tournament

MICDS senior Parker Perry earned all-state honors in the Class 1 state girls golf tournament. Perry, a captain, finished fifth with a 165 in the two-day tournament at Fremont Hills Golf Course in Nixa. She shot an 84 in the first round and followed it with an 81. St. Joseph’s Armando plays on four state championship golf teams for the Angels

Senior Grace Armando is in the record books at St. Joseph’s Academy. Aromando is the first Angel to play on four state champion golf teams. St. Joseph’s Academy senior Grace Aromando holds the state trophy. Lafayette’s Biermann wins third sectional golf title, heads to Class 2 state tournament

Lafayette junior Brooke Biermann is going to the Class 2 girls state golf tournament for the third consecutive year. Biermann won the Class 2 Sectional 2 meet at L.A. Nickell Golf Course in Columbia. The MICDS Rams want a lucky seven. MICDS is seeking is its seventh consecutive year of reaching the state girls golf tournament. The St. Joseph’s Academy Angels set another state record for a low team score. The St. Joseph’s Academy Angels celebrate winning the Class 2 District 2 golf tournament. The Angels won the Class 2 District 2 meet played at the Links At Dardenne. St. Joseph’s shot a 283. That’s a state-best score for a par 72 course. The Parkway Central Colts team and two Lafayette Lancers will play in the high school girls golf sectional. The Colts finished second with a team score of 336 in the Class 2 District 2 Tournament championship played at Links at Dardenne.
