Top-seeded Parkway North faces Pattonville in opening girls district game

Parkway North has won district girls championship in three of the last four years. In that span, the Vikings reached the quarterfinals in 2009 and 2014. Coach Brett Katz leads his top-seeded Vikings (20-5) into Class 5 District 6 play at De Smet on Monday (March 2). Parkway North faces No. 4 Pattonville at 5 p.m. Monday followed by No. 2.   This time around, the Westminster Wildcats knew it was going to be a low-scoring dogfight and a grind-it-out battle against the Priory Rebels on the hardwood.
