Lafayette girls turn into another impressive effort at state wrestling meet

Whitfield leaves Class 1 wrestling by winning its fourth consecutive team title

The Whitfield Warriors went out on top as the program bid goodbye to Class 1 state wrestling. The Warriors scored a program first by winning its fourth consecutive Class 1 team championship. The Warriors finished first with 172.5 points in the 90th Missouri Boys Wrestling State Championships at Mizzou Arena. Whitfield earned its ninth championship in the last 13 seasons. CBC freshman Robinson is ‘on the right track’ after winning first state wrestling championship

CBC freshman Santino Robinson showed coach Cornell Robinson he has the right stuff. Robinson (35-4) won the Class 4 championship at 113 pounds in the 90th Missouri Boys Wrestling State Championships at Mizzou Arena. He won by a 4-2 decision over Carter Mccallister, of Rock Bridge.
