Fresh off defeating Incarnate Word, Parkway North girls face back-to-back challenges in Marquette, Edwardsville

The Parkway North Vikings girls basketball has a busy two days ahead of them. The Vikings (7-3) will entertain the Marquette Mustangs (7-2) at 5:30 p.m. Friday. Then, Parkway North plays at 4 p.m. Saturday in the St. Joseph’s Shootout at 4 p.m. The Vikings will face the Edwardsville Tigers (14-1). County Council shuffles seats, ruffles feathers

The changing of the guard at the St. Louis County Council was not a surprise on Tuesday, Jan. 7. Council member Ernie Trakas [R-District 6] graciously stepped aside from the chairman's seat after serving for most of the past year. But what transpired afterward left at least a few council members miffed.
