Parkway North meets Francis Howell in girls basketball sectional contest

With a second consecutive district championship earned, the Parkway North Vikings return to the sectional. The Vikings (22-5) will meet Francis Howell (23-4) in a Class 5 sectional at St. Charles West at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday (March 11). Parkway North scored a 57-45 win over Hazelwood Central to win the District 6 championship last Thursday (March 5) at De Smet to advance. “The girls were thrilled to win the district title,” Parkway North coach Brett Katz said.
