MICDS set to play St. Joseph’s Academy in matchup of undefeated field hockey teams

It’s always good to start a season playing tough competition and winning. And the MICDS Rams have done just that. The Rams won Pool B of the 22nd annual Gateway Classic at the SportPort Athletic Complex. The MICDS Rams won Pool B in the recent Gateway Classic. The Rams went 2-0-1 in the tournament. Country Club of St. Albans won’t host Metropolitan Open Championship in 2020

For 14 years the Country Club of St. Albans has hosted the Metropolitan Open Championship on its Lewis & Clark Course. However, due to an opportunity to host the 2020 NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Championships around the same time as the Open, the venue for the 2020 championship is making a change for the 15th edition. Parkway West moves up to Class 4 in soccer, Priory drops back to Class 2

The Missouri State High School Actitivities Association recent district soccer assignments showed two schools are changing classifications. The Parkway West Longhorrns are moving up from Class 3 to compete in Class 4. The Priory Rebels are dropping back to Class 2 from Class 4. Parkway West will be District 4 with defending Class 4 champion CBC, Marquette and Lafayette. Priory will be in District 5 with St. Clair, St. Francis Borgia and Whitfield.
