Incarnate Word to play at Parkway North after Visitation Tournament win

The Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights jump into 2020 doing what they always do — play a tough opponent. The Red Knights (10-1) will play at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Parkway North (6-3) in a girls basketball game. Last February, the Vikings stopped Incarnate Word 65-62. Two yaars ago, Parkway North 73-63. Both were regular-season games. The Incarnate Word Academy won the 45th annual Visitation Tournament. Athletes from West County Special Olympics given help from MICDS

The MICDS Holiday Tournament raises money to support Special Olympics Missouri but it does more than that. It gives their athletes a chance to play and feature their skills and talents on the basketball court. This was the 19th year that the event was held. The Special Olympics game has players from West County Special Olympics. MICDS host a 15-minute exhibition game with players from West County Special Olympics on the night of the tournament semifinals. Mullen signs junior hockey tender, hopes to reach Challenge Cup title game

De Smet senior Michael Mullen has his hockey future mapped out. Mullen, a 6-foot, 165-pound forward, recently signed a tender with Jamestown (N.Y.) Rebels, a Tier II junior hockey team. De Smet senior Michael Mullen will play Tier II junior hockey at Jamestown, N.Y. when he finishes high school.
