Parkway Central girls ready to begin conference basketball action

Conference play has arrived for the Parkway Central Colts girls basketball team. The Colts open Suburban Central National Division action with a home game Friday (Jan. 15) against defending conference champion Ladue. Tipoff is at 6 p.m Coach Brian Guilfoyle’s Colts are off to an 8-2 start. Parkway Central enters league play fresh off beating Seckman 46-28 Tuesday. Fresh off winning All-Suburban Tournament, Lafayette wrestlers head to big meet in Jefferson City

Fresh off a dominating performance in the All-Suburban Tournament, the Lafayette wrestling Lancers will test their mettle in the Capital City Tournament. The two-day meet begins Friday in Jefferson City features the top four-ranked teams in the state. Erosion solution sought for S. Eatherton Road

In the wake of late December rains that caused soil erosion and landslides on S. Eatherton Road, that road remains closed. St. Louis County's Departments of Transportation and Public Works is expecting a recommendation this week [Jan. 11-Jan.15] for stabilizing the hill and reopening the road.
