Weldon looks ready for the competition in the annual Old Warson Cup after red-shirt spring at K-State

You can’t blame Kyle Weldon for wanting to get out on the golf course in actual competition. Weldon, a senior at Kansas State and a Parkway South graduate, red-shirted this spring at Kansas State so he will have one year of eligibility remaining. After practicing with his teammates all season, Weldon finally got to play when he took part in the recent Local Qualifying tournament for the U.S. Open at Norwood Hills. Incarnate Word Academy faces familiar foe in Class 3 quarterfinal tilt playing St. Dominic

The Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights are one game shy of their first trip to the Final Four since 2011. Incarnate Word (13-8-2) will host St. Dominic (21-4) at 11 a.m. Saturday (May 30).
