Eureka’s Shelton will become new football coach at Kirkwood

Eureka coach Farrell Shelton is a Wildcat through and through. The 47-year-old Shelton graduated from Eureka and so did his children. After 10 years as an assistant coach, Shelton was promoted to be the head coach of the Wildcats. “It’s ingrained in me,” Shelton said about being involved at Eureka. But after 15 years in that position as head coach, Shelton is leaving Eureka. He has accepted the job to coach at Kirkwood. Lafayette’s Eaton captures 2nd medalist honor this season; Lancers win second tournament

Lafayette senior Dillon Eaton earned his second medalist honor of the season when he won the recent Bulldog Battle at WingHaven. Eaton shot a 2-under par 70 to finish first in the high school boys golf tournament hosted by Fort Zumwalt South. Lafayette also won the team title. The Lancers finished with a team score of 307.
