The streak continues for the Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights girls soccer team. Incarnate Word Academy has won 33 consecutive district championships. The Red Knights (12-8-2) defeated host Rosati-Kain 4-1 to claim the Class 3 District 6 championship. It’s been a big week for district action in high school girls soccer and baseball. The district champs will be heading into sectional play next week. Here’s a look at who won: Soccer Class 1 District 2 at Principia Principia defeated Maplewood 8-1 to win district. Parkway West boys tennis team plays well in winning district title

The Parkway West Longhorns captured their second consecutive district championship and head into the sectional match Saturday (May 23) with a full head of steam. The host Longhorns defeated Lafayette 5-1 to claim the Class 2 District 6 title. The Lafayette boys track and field team had two athletes broke a record that has stood since 1996 in the same race at the Class 5 District 2 meet. The Lafayette Lancers qualified for the girls track and field sectional by winning the Class 5 District 2 meet. The Lancers will compete in Sectional 1 Saturday (May 23) at Washington.
